Now this is the new time of meeting

Sources associated with this development said, “There is no real clarity about when this meeting can take place – either after the second IPL match in Guwahati or in the first week of April, but whatever the conversation will be held in that meeting in the future, all the relevant details are expected to come to the public domain immediately after.”

Also know the agenda of the meeting

Earlier this week, the BCCI announced the annual retainer for the senior women’s team of India for the 2024/25 cycle. The meeting in Guwahati on Saturday was to be around two major topics: Discussion about the senior team of the men’s team’s annual retainer and the initial makeup of India ‘A’ as well as the senior team for the tour of England.

India ‘A’ is to play two four -day matches starting on May 30, after which the Test team will start a five -match series against England in Headingley from June 20. This will be India’s first Test series after losing the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 3–1 from Australia. India last won the Test series in England in 2007.

Such amount is received under the current contract

According to the central contracts of 2023/24 given to 30 players of the senior team, for the men’s team, the BCCI divided them into four categories – grade A+ players were being paid seven crore rupees, while Grade A, Grade B and Grade C players get five crore rupees, three crore rupees and one crore respectively respectively.

The screw is stuck due to these players

It will be interesting to see whether Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja retain their A+ contracts or not, as they retired from T20 Eye after the World Cup victory last year. Earlier, MS Dhoni was placed in the top category of annual retainers despite retiring from the Test in December 2014.

The progress of these players is confirmed!

Shreyas Iyer, who has recently scored India’s highest run in the Champions Trophy win, can re -enter the list of centrally contracted players after being notable last year. All -rounder Akshar Patel, who played an important role in India’s undefeated run in the T20 World Cup and Champions Trophy, also has a good chance to get promotion. Varun Chakraborty, Nitish Kumar Reddy and Abhishek Sharma, who performed brilliantly for India in various formats in the last 12 months, are in the race to achieve their first central contract.
