This film of Kangana Ranaut was surrounded by controversies for a long time and it was to be released last year. It finally hit the big screens on January 17. In the film, Kangana is seen in the role of late former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. While some viewers liked Kangana’s acting, there are some who are fiercely criticizing this film of the actress. Still, ‘Emergency’ has earned Rs 10 crore in three days of its launch. The budget of the film is said to be around Rs 60 crore.
In this way, this film of Kangana has earned more than the lifetime collection of many previous flop films (‘Tejas’, ‘Dhaakad’ and ‘Thalaivi’). In such a situation, it would not be wrong to say that this is no less than a record for Kangana, who has given back to back flop films.
