India-China Relation: Restrained from America’s trumpcard on Russia, ‘Elephant-dragon’ is talking about friendship

India-china relationship: Neighbor is useful in difficult times. This saying is common in India. Vajpayee has also said- you can change friends, but not a neighbor. But China now understands this. Till tomorrow, China was weaving a dream of a new world order with Russia, Trump is shattering. After Donald Trump took over the power of America for the second time, Russia-US is coming near, due to which China is seen standing in the background (shore) in the world order. In such a situation, China is now talking about friendship with India. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has described India and China on Friday as right choice for each other.

‘It is necessary to strengthen cooperation instead of degrading each other’

In fact, after the National People’s Congress meeting, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said, “Dragon and elephant are the only correct option (friendship between India and China).” He also said, “It is our basic interests to support each other instead of degrading each other and strengthening cooperation rather than avoid each other.”

‘India-China joining will be a bright future of Global South’

The Chinese Foreign Minister also announced that if the two largest economies of Asia meet each other, then “the democratization of international relations as well as the development and strengthening of ‘Global South’ will be a bright future.” However, India has not yet responded to the statement of the Chinese Foreign Minister.

Jaishankar had said- Government working in advancing the relationship between the two countries

However, on Thursday, India’s Foreign Minister S Jaishankar definitely said that the Government of India is working to decide in a positive direction for relations with China, for which the pilgrimage will be resumed, direct flights and exchange of journalists at China’s control sites.

In response to a question related to the relationship with Delhi, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi also pointed out the positive progress between the two countries last year, including military withdrawal in Ladakh’s Depsang and Demchok.

PM Modi and Xi Jinping met in Kazan

He also talked about meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and China’s Xi Jinping in Kazan, Russia in October last year. On the border dispute with India, he insisted, “We should not allow bilateral relations to be defined with the boundary questions. These differences should not allow the overall bilateral relations to affect.”

The equations are changing with a US-China tariff war

It is known that this statement has come at a time when a tariff war is going on between the United States and China. Amid the ongoing tariff fight between China and America, China has extended the hand of friendship like India. Now it is to see what India responds to this initiative of China?
