The 20th match of IPL 2025 was played between Royce Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians, in which Hardik Pandya rocked the ball and bat. Hardik took two wickets in the first 4 overs, while after this he scored 45 runs in 15 balls. Hardik may have performed a bang, but he could not win his team. Mumbai Indians won the toss and decided to bowl first. Royal Challengers Bangalore, batting first, scored 221 runs losing 5 wickets in 20 overs. Virat Kohli scored 67 runs in 42 balls, which had 8 fours and 2 sixes. Devdutt Paddikal scored 37 runs in 22 balls, including 3 fours and 2 sixes. Captain Rajat Patidar also played a fast innings of 22 runs in 13 balls, including 2 fours and 1 six. Finally, Jeetesh Sharma scored an unbeaten 40 in 19 balls, which had 2 fours and 4 sixes.
In response, the Mumbai Indians team were able to score 209 runs in 20 overs, and lost the match by 12 runs. For Mumbai Indians, Rohit Sharma scored 17 runs in 9 balls, including 2 fours and 1 six, but he was dismissed by Yash Dayal. Ryan Ricelton scored 17 runs in 10 balls, which had 4 fours.
