The case was registered at Sadar police station in Jalandhar for hurting religious sentiments under Section 299 of the Indian Justice Code (BNS). A complaint was lodged by option Gold, resident of Falriwal village in Jalandhar. The police complaint alleged that the accused have hurt the religious sentiments of the Christian community by copying a scene associated with Prabhu Jesus Christ in the film. However, now the makers have apologized for removing the scene and hurting the religious spirit.
