Rohit Sharma Statement after Victory in Final Match Sgainst New Zealand: The Indian team has captured the title by defeating the New Zealand team by four wickets in the final match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Captain Rohit Sharma looked quite happy with the success of ICC’s big tournament. After the match, he shared his heart and said, ‘Looks great. We played great cricket throughout the tournament and when the result comes in our favor, happiness doubles.
The bat of the Indian captain did not do anything special in the entire tournament except for the final match. But he looked quite aggressive while batting in the field. Talking about his aggressive game after the match, he said, ‘This is not my natural style, but I wanted to adopt it. When you try to do something new, it is necessary to support the team and management. I had earlier talked to Rahul Bhai and now Goti Bhai too. This was something that I really wanted to do. For so many years, I played in different ways, but now we are getting good results in this new way.
‘Hitman’ Sharma, while furthering his point, said, ‘We have to understand the nature of the pitch and I was already clear how to play in the first 5-6 overs. Even before I have been out in the same manner, but it matters to execute it properly. We have depth in batting, which gives me freedom to play openly.
