Prime Minister Modi will hold extensive talks with Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Disanayake on Saturday.

After the meeting, India and Sri Lanka are expected to agree to about 10 areas, including promoting cooperation in the areas of defense, energy security and digitization.

The Prime Minister has reached the capital of Sri Lanka after completing his visit to Bangkok. In Bangkok, he attended the summit of BIMSTEC (Bay of Bengal for multi-regional technical and economic cooperation).
