Tahwwur Rana has been sent on 18 days NIA remand. The NIA had sought a remand of 20 days. But the Patiala House Court approved the remand of 18 days. Rana will now be placed in the NIA’s Special Cell, where he will be questioned amidst tight security. Apart from 12 officers, no one will be allowed to go in this special cell.
NIA will interrogate Rana and after that he will be prosecuted in court. Rana can be taken to Mumbai, where the attack was done and he can be questioned by taking it to the spot.
