Tesla’s first showroom will open in Mumbai, Alan Musk signed a lease deal

For this showroom, Tesla, the world’s richest industrialist Alan Musk’s company, has signed a lease deal at Mumbai’s Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC). According to the information received, Tesla has signed a lease deal for the next 5 years from 16 February 2025. According to the lease deal, Tesla will pay the first year fare for its Mumbai-based showroom, US $ 4,46,000 i.e. three crore 87 lakh rupees.

Tesla’s Mumbai showroom will be held in 4003 sq ft

According to the lease deal, the fare of the showroom will increase by 5 percent every year. The fare of the showroom, the last 5th year of the lease, will increase by $ 5,42,000. Tesla’s showroom will open in Maxity Building, BKC, Mumbai. The area of ​​this showroom is 4003 sq ft i.e. 372 square meters. According to the report, this area is equal to a court of basketball.

All big brand offices and stores in BKC

It is known that the Bandra-Kurla complex is close to the Mumbai Airport and has all the big and renowned global brands’ offices and stores. Tesla will initially sell the vehicles imported in India. These vehicles will be imported from Berlin, the capital of Germany.

Reuters reported last month that Tesla selected places for two showrooms in Indian cities New Delhi and Mumbai, a few days after the car manufacturer’s chief Alan Musk’s meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the US. After Mumbai, Tesla’s second showroom will open in Delhi.
