Karnataka ex dgp murder case: The sensational news of the murder of former Karnataka DGP Om Prakash has come out from Bengaluru. According to the information received, the blood -soaked corpse of the former DGP has been recovered from his house. Initial investigation by the police has expressed suspicion of murder on his wife. The police is investigating the case. In the first two -hour investigation after the information about the murder of the DGP came out, the police said that three people were present at the DGP’s house at the time of the incident. In which one of his wife, daughter and one and third person was present there. All three are being questioned. The police is taking forward the investigation by considering his wife as the main accused of the murder. Bengaluru Police Commissioner Vikas Kumar gave the above information.

Additional CP Vikas Kumar of Bengaluru said, “At around 4-4:30 pm today, we received information about the death of our former DGP and IGP Om Prakash. His son has been contacted and he is complaining against the incident, and an FIR will be lodged based on it.

The police officer further informed that after the case is registered, a detailed investigation will be done … No arrests have been made at the moment. Initial investigation shows that the matter may be internal … It seems that a sharp weapon has been used, which bleed so much that he died.

Police also said that several attacks were carried out on the chest on the stomach of the DGP with sharp weapons. After the incident, no person present in the DGP’s house had information to the police. A neighbor called the police. After which the police reached the spot.

Om Prakash was a 1981 batch IPS officer

According to the information revealed, former DGP Om Prakash in Karnataka was found dead in his house in HSR layout of Bengaluru. He was a 1981 batch IPS officer. His body has been sent for post -mortem. The police suspect that the retired officer’s wife has murdered him. Currently, the matter is being investigated from all angles.

IPS officer Om Prakash was a resident of Champaran, Bihar

Police said that the body of former Karnataka Director General of Police (DGP) Om Prakash has bruises, which suspects that he would have been murdered. A 68 -year -old IPS officer of 1981 batch was a native of Champaran, Bihar and had a MSc degree in Geology.

Director General appointed in 2015

He was appointed Director General of Police on March 1, 2015. On receiving the information, senior police officers reached the spot. The police suspect a close member of the family to join it. The body has been sent for postmortem and investigation is on.

According to media reports, the former DGP had been having some dispute with his wife for some time. According to the report, there was conflict between the two also about the money. They both have a son and a daughter. The police is currently under investigation.
