PAN-India star Yash, famous for blockbuster KGF, is set to attend the shooting of ‘Ramayana Part 1’ in Mumbai in the coming week. To start his journey with this epic, Yash will first go to the prestigious Sri Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain and take divine blessings. The film also stars Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor and actress Sai Pallavi. Yash starts every new film project by visiting the temple.
This time his departure to the temple is also associated with his character because Ravana, the character played by the actor in ‘Ramayana Part 1’, was a devotee of Mahadev. Apart from playing an important role, Yash Malhota’s prime focus studios along with his banner Monster Mind Creations is also co-produce the film. As a co-producer, he is working closely with the team on all aspects of this dream project and will start shooting for his scene from the end of April.
Producer Namit Malhotra is supporting this cinematic epic, which is being considered the most project of Indian cinema till date. The film is being directed by noted filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari and has a cinematic vision to re -introduce the legendary style for the rich story, latest technology and worldwide audiences.
‘Ramayana Part 1’ is set to release Diwali 2026. After this, ‘Ramayana Part 2’ will be released on Diwali 2027. Meanwhile, Yash also has ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tail for Grone-Apps’ in the pipeline. The makers of the film recently shared that the film will come to theaters on March 19, 2026.
The first massive Indian project written and shot in both Kannada and English is the mix of toxic culture. The film will be dubbed in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and many other languages. The film is directed by Geetu Mohandas who is known for her emotional and award winning films.
