Agartala:
It is often said about elephants that they are our companions. They are very intelligent, along with being wild they are also domesticated. However, if you know about one news then you will say, whose companion will this elephant become? Actually, the matter is that an elephant named Chandratara crossed the border of Bangladesh and came to India. It was seen in a village in Tripura on 11 September.

Atikur, a resident of Bangladesh, is also claiming this elephant. He says that this elephant is his, while two people from India have also staked claim on this elephant. In such a situation, the question arises that whose companion will this elephant become?

Bangladeshi citizen Atiqur Rahman has sent many evidences to the Border Security Force and Tripura Forest Department through his relatives. While he claims that this elephant is his, this claim has been questioned by two citizens living in India. These citizens claim that these elephants belong to them.

This matter is becoming very serious. This matter has been appealed in the court. The local court has said that the matter will be heard on January 21. At the same time, due to the strict rules and legal complications of the Forest Department, the elephant cannot be sent back immediately.
