
Karun Nair Scored 24 Runs In 1 Over: The second semi-final match of Vijay Hazare Trophy was played today (16 January 2025) between Vidarbha and Maharashtra in Vadodara. The hero of the match was definitely Yash Rathod (116), but the innings of Dhruv Shorey (114) and Karun Nair (88 not out) are also less appreciated. Vidarbha won
Talking about the results of the match, Vidarbha team, batting first after losing the toss in Vadodara, managed to score 380 runs at the loss of three wickets in 50 overs. While chasing the target, Maharashtra team could reach only 311 runs at the loss of seven wickets in 50 overs.
Opening the innings during the match, Arshin Kulkarni contributed 90 runs in 101 balls. Apart from them, Ankit Bawne, batting at fifth position, contributed 50 runs in 49 balls and wicketkeeper player Nikhil Naik, batting at seventh position, contributed 40 runs in 26 balls. Despite this, Maharashtra team did not win and had to face defeat by a huge margin of 69 runs.
