Every year, many big budget and films of actors are released in Bollywood. Fans also eagerly wait for their favorite artist films. Some of these films are also multistarrer. Sometimes these films do good work at the box office and some flops badly. Not only this, some films go on in cold storage too. Today we tell you about a film in which seven big Bollywood actors were going to be seen, but for one reason this film went into cold storage.
This is Karan Johar’s film Takht. Even before the shooting started, there was a lot of discussion about this mega-budget film. In this film, actors like Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Jahnavi Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Anil Kapoor were to be taken in the lead roles. Allegedly, the story was based on Shah Jahan’s two sons – Aurangzeb and Dara Shikoh. It was going to be a large period drama film, showing the fight for the Mughal throne.
It was considered to be Karan Johar’s passion project. The release date of the throne was also fixed. Takht was to be released on December 24, 2021, but cameras could not roll for the project. There are many reasons behind the closure of the throne. One reason for this is to postpone due to Kovid-19. The second reason is the criticism of Karan Johar for nepotism. The Takht had star kids like Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Janhvi Kapoor. Let us tell you that the Takht was announced by Karan Johar in the year 2018.
