Waqf amendment Bill Live: Lied about UPA government …; When Gaurav Gogoi spoke of Rijiju on Waqf

The Marxist Communist Party (CPI -M) on Wednesday announced to oppose the Waqf Amendment Bill proposed by the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government at the Center and said that his party MPs would vote against it. This statement of the party has come amid opposition from the Catholic Church, which is criticizing the attitude of Kerala MPs on the bill.

MV Govindan, secretary of the CPI (M) state unit, spoke on the party’s stand on the other side of the party’s 24th session held from April 2 to 6 in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. Govindan also dismissed the stand taken by the Kerala Catholic Bishop Council (KCBC) on the issue and said that it would not affect the party’s views on the matter.

He said, “There is no doubt that we are against the Waqf Bill. We have already made our stand clear. We do not change our attitude at the behest of others. Our attitude is clear. ”Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) said in a statement that the party will take out a day to the day to the residence of all MPs of the ‘Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance’ (India) component to oppose the Waqf Bill.
