In addition to running fast vehicles and parking (which he had immediately filled), he has not been accused of any civil violation, motor vehicle code violation, or immigration law violation. He has not been active in protests on the campus on any political issue.

On 4 April, Wayne State University informed Chinmay Devre that his F-1 student’s states have been abolished in SEVIS. The email he has received said, “Our records show that your Sevis has been terminated this morning. The reason for the termination- fail to maintain states- the name of criminal record is found in the investigation and/or their visa has been canceled. The SEVIS record has been terminated.” Apart from this, no other details or allegations were given.
