After the pressure increased, the order has been withdrawn by the university to remove some students from the hostel of the institute. The Nepali Embassy has said that KIIT has assured that it will arrange for the stay of Nepali students in the university hostel and compensate for their educational loss.

According to the information, a student of B.Tech (Computer Science) of KIIT University gave her life after a dispute with her lover who is a student of the same institute on Sunday.

Students made serious allegations against KIIT
