Recently, a woman allegedly lodged a complaint at the Paltan Bazar Police Station in Guwahati against a person named Chakreshwar Mili who allegedly worked as a PSO. The complaint alleges sexual exploitation and blackmail.
According to the woman, the man concealed that he was married and carried on a relationship with her. The man was said to be connected to Minister Singhal.
Singhal responded in a social media post and said the individual named in the complaint "is not my PSO and has never been appointed or engaged by me in any capacity."
He urged the public not to be misled by "misinformation or attempts to create a false impression around this matter." He also said he hoped an impartial investigation would establish the facts and bring out the truth.
The allegations against the PSO have not been proven. Further details awaited.
