GUWAHATI: Guwahati recorded an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 133 at 12:01 PM on Tuesday, September 29, placing the city in the ‘Poor’ air quality category, according to real-time air quality data.

The city’s PM2.5 concentration was recorded at 48 µg/m³, while the PM10 level stood at 60 µg/m³ at the time of the reading.
Guwahati was ranked 53rd among the most polluted cities globally based on the available real-time AQI data.
The air quality reading came amid sunny weather conditions in the city. The temperature was recorded at 32°C as of 12:01 pm.
The AQI and pollutant levels are subject to change throughout the day as weather and atmospheric conditions vary.
