On 6 May 2025, Hridaya Nanda Sarma officially founded News Desk Report with the vision of creating a modern, independent, and trustworthy digital news platform dedicated to Assam, Northeast India, and national affairs.
Under his leadership, News Desk Report rapidly grew into a fast-expanding digital media organization known for breaking news coverage, public-interest journalism, regional reporting, entertainment news, interviews, and multimedia storytelling. Early Life and Education
Hridaya Nanda Sarma developed a strong interest in journalism, communication, media production, and digital technology from an early age. During his educational journey, he focused on building practical skills related to multimedia communication, digital publishing, video editing, branding, and media management.
His passion for storytelling and digital communication inspired him to pursue a professional career in journalism and multimedia production. Before establishing News Desk Report, Hridaya Nanda Sarma built extensive experience in the broadcast and multimedia industry through his long association with Doordarshan Kendra Guwahati.
From 2014 to 2025, he worked at Doordarshan Kendra Guwahati as a Post Production Assistant. During this period, he gained professional experience in television production, video editing, post-production workflow, newsroom coordination, content management, and broadcast operations.
His experience at Doordarshan helped him understand professional media systems and strengthened his expertise in journalism, editing, and multimedia communication. The knowledge and practical exposure he gained during his tenure played an important role in shaping his future media ventures and digital journalism initiatives.
