According to data released by the NTA, 22 candidates secured 100 percentile scores in three subjects, while 180 candidates achieved 100 percentile in two subjects. A total of 3,214 candidates scored 100 percentile in one subject each.
Notably, only one candidate managed to secure a perfect 100 percentile score in four of the five subjects they had opted for.
The results have been prepared on the basis of the final answer key released by the NTA on June 22. The agency had earlier published the provisional answer key, question papers and candidates' recorded responses on June 9, allowing students to raise objections before the final key was issued.
CUET UG 2026 was conducted between May 11 and May 31, with additional examinations held on June 6 and 7. The examination was organised across 321 cities and offered candidates a choice of 37 subjects, including 13 languages, 23 domain-specific subjects and one General Aptitude Test (GAT).
The NTA stated in the document that participating universities and institutions will use CUET UG 2026 scores to prepare their own merit lists and admission rankings for the 2026-27 academic session.
CUET UG serves as a common entrance examination for admission to undergraduate programmes in central universities and several other participating higher education institutions across the country.
