GUWAHATI: A man was killed and another sustained serious injuries after a scooter and a motorcycle collided head-on on Maharaj Prithu Flyover in Guwahati past midnight on Monday.

The deceased was identified as Parimal Medhi, who died on the spot following the impact. The injured, Sushil Neog, sustained severe injuries.
According to an official of the Chandmari Traffic Branch, the incident was reported at around 12:10 AM.
Locals alleged that emergency services, including police personnel, did not reach the spot immediately after the accident.
