GUWAHATI: Congress MP from Thiruvananthapuram Shashi Tharoor on Sunday, September 20, took to the microblogging site X and took a jibe at the ruling BJP by referring to the word “Quockerwodger”.

“Word of our era! I think our ruling party has spawned a few of these in the last dozen years,” Tharoor wrote while sharing an image explaining the meaning of the word.
The image shared by Tharoor described “Quockerwodger” as “a political puppet; a person who is controlled by someone else and acts on their instructions.”
Meanwhile, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi also took a dig at the BJP during the recently held ‘Chhatron Ki Goonj’ event in Indore, where he said the BJP wants to build “Andh Bhakts” (blind followers) and not students who dare to ask questions.
