GUWAHATI: Guwahati police arrested six members of an alleged inter-state gang involved in robbing train passengers during a raid at a hotel in the city's Adabari area.

Acting on specific intelligence, Jalukbari Police conducted a raid at Hotel Avisarika and apprehended the six accused. The arrested have been identified as Sonu and Kuldeep of Rohtak, Krishna Rana, Praveen Kumar and Satyawan of Bhiwani, and Sanjay Kumar of Hisar, all from Haryana.
Police said the gang allegedly targeted passengers travelling on trains.
Further investigation is underway.
