GUWAHATI: Sribhumi Police recently seized 66,000 tablets worth around ₹6.6 crore after intercepting a vehicle in the district and arrested all four accused linked to the consignment.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced the seizure in a post on X.
The CM stated that Sribhumi Police intercepted the vehicle following it and apprehended all four accused.
The seizure is the latest in a series of operations by Assam Police and other enforcement agencies against drug trafficking in the state. Authorities have stepped up action against the illegal movement of narcotics, with several major seizures reported across Assam in recent months.
