The Indian Air Force’s No. 7 Air Force Band, Guwahati, performed a special musical programme at the War Memorial in Dighalipukhuri, Guwahati, on Wednesday, August 12, ahead of India’s 80th Independence Day.

The performance was held under the Eastern Air Command’s area of responsibility and paid tribute to the country’s fallen heroes and national milestones.
The event was held from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM and featured patriotic songs and classical instrumental arrangements.
The performance served as a musical tribute to the nation, bringing together military precision and instrumental music against the backdrop of the War Memorial.
The War Memorial at Dighalipukhuri was inaugurated in 2016.
