Amid one of Assam's most severe ongoing flood crises, Apollo Hospitals Guwahati has carried out a large-scale relief and medical outreach drive at Doba-Tiniali in Charaideo district, working alongside the Charaideo Police.
As part of the initiative, the hospital sent a team of doctors, nurses, and support staff to the flood-hit area to deliver immediate aid and healthcare services to affected families. More than 1,000 relief kits, containing medicines, food, clothing, and other essential items were handed out to families struggling in the aftermath of the floods.
The hospital also ran a large medical screening camp, where health professionals examined and consulted with over 800 people. The camp focused on spotting illnesses commonly linked to flooding, tackling urgent health issues on the spot, and giving preventive guidance to help curb the spread of disease in the affected region.
Apollo Hospitals Guwahati thanked the Charaideo Police for their support in helping the relief drive run smoothly and succeed.
