GUWAHATI: The One-Time Window for determining the market value of tea gardens and tea lands has been extended to calculate stamp duty and registration fees on conveyance deeds.

The State Cabinet has also extended the one-time SOP valuation mechanism for determining the market value of such properties for the purpose.
The valuation mechanism will be used to determine the applicable stamp duty and registration fees on conveyance deeds involving tea garden or tea land.
The decision was taken at the State Cabinet meeting held on Sunday, August 30.
