Speaking on the seventh day of the Budget Session, the Chief Minister said the government is likely to approve the proposal for the new CO offices within this week.

The initiative is intended to decentralise administrative functions, make revenue-related services more accessible, and ensure quicker and more efficient governance for citizens.

Sarma said the additional Circle Officer offices will bring administrative services closer to the public while easing the workload of existing revenue offices. The government is expected to announce the locations and operational details of the new offices after formal approval.
