GUWAHATI: The Assam State School Education Board has released the district-wise performance figures for the Higher Secondary (HS) Final Examination 2026, providing details into how students across Assam performed in different streams.
The results, declared on April 28, show notable variations among districts, with several achieving exceptionally high pass percentages, particularly in the Science stream.
Science stream emerged as the best-performing category with a state pass percentage of 89.79%. Top-performing districts included Tamulpur at 98.39%, West Karbi Anglong at 98.36%, Baksa at 97.96%.
The lowest pass percentage in this stream was reported in Dhemaji at 70.03%, though still relatively higher compared to other streams.
