GUWAHATI: Assam Police seized 31,800 bottles of suspected contraband worth ₹3.18 crore in two anti-drug operations carried out in Sribhumi district.

The seizure was announced by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on X on Tuesday, July 28.
Sharing the details in a post on X, the Chief Minister commended the Sribhumi Police for the successful operations.
"Kudos to @sribhumipolice for two successful anti-drug operations resulting in the seizure of 31,800 bottles of suspected contraband worth ₹3.18 crore and apprehending two accused," Sarma said.
According to the Chief Minister, two persons were arrested during the operations.
Further investigation into the cases is underway.
