GUWAHATI: The teaser of the upcoming Assamese film ‘Adrishyya’ was unveiled in Guwahati on Monday, October 5offering audiences a glimpse into the mystery and suspense surrounding the film. The film is scheduled to release in theatres across Assam on November 20.

The teaser was launched at an event organised at Kadambari Connective in Rajgarh in the presence of the film’s cast and crew. The teaser builds a mysterious atmosphere while keeping the central plot largely under wraps, leaving viewers with questions about the story and the significance of the title ‘Adrishyya’.
The family-mystery thriller is directed and edited by National Award-winning filmmaker Samujjal Kashyap, while the story, screenplay and dialogues have been written by screenwriter, lyricist and playwright Rajdweep.
Acclaimed Assamese actors Tapan Das and Jatin Bora play the lead roles in the film. Priyam Pallabee, Pranami Bora, Himanshu Prasad Das and several other actors are also part of the cast.
‘Adrishyya’ is jointly produced by Sixth Sense Symphony, Kadambari Connective and JB Production. Deepak Bajaj, Himangku Sharma, Nayanjit Das, Samudra Kashyap and Nilakshi Sharma are among the producers, along with Samujjal Kashyap for Kadambari Connective and Jatin Bora and Navanita Sharma for JB Production.
Sourav Banerjee has handled the cinematography, while Rupam Bhuyan and Rakesh Baro have composed the music. Gobinda Naskar is responsible for colour grading and Jyoti Chetia for sound design.
The film’s songs have been penned by Rajdweep, Jesim Ahmed, Keshab Jyoti Das and Maitreyee Patar, with vocals by Jol Barua, Rupam Bhuyan, Jublee Baruah, Neel Akash, Ereka and Rakesh Baro.
With the teaser now out, anticipation around the film has begun to build ahead of its November 20 release. The makers are positioning ‘Adrishyya’ as a suspense-driven Assamese film that aims to offer audiences a fresh cinematic experience.
