Representing India at the prestigious tournament, Navhyam competed against participants from several countries, including Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Myanmar. He secured second place in the 400-metre Speed Race under the Basic Inline Skating Boys Category C, delivering an outstanding performance on the international stage.

The young skater also impressed in multiple other events during the championship. He narrowly missed a place in the final of the 300-metre race and progressed to the semi-finals in the 500-metre category.

In addition, Navhyam was part of the Indian contingent in the 1,800-metre International Team Relay event alongside two fellow skaters. The team completed the race successfully but missed out on a podium finish by a narrow margin based on overall timings.

The young skater had earlier showcased his exceptional talent by securing the top spot at the 25th National Speed Skating Championship held in Chennai earlier this year, cementing his position as one of the country’s most promising emerging athletes.
