GUWAHATI: The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) has reopened the registration portal for Class IX students till May 30, 2026, providing schools another opportunity to complete pending registrations and make necessary corrections.

In a notification issued on Tuesday, May 26, the board informed all affiliated schools that the portal has been reopened with an edit option for already registered students.
According to the notification, schools have been directed to download Form 50 from the “Payments → Registration Payments” section of the registration portal after successful payment.
The board also instructed schools to verify Form 50 with students’ birth certificates and make corrections, if required, through the “Checklist → School Checklist” option available on the portal. The school checklist feature will be accessible only after successful payment.
Additionally, schools can add names of students who were left out earlier during the registration process.
The notification further stated that the last date for payment is May 30, 2026, and warned that the deadline will not be extended further.
“All schools are directed to complete the registration process within the stipulated time,” the notification said.
