According to a circular issued by CBSE, the last date has now been extended to May 24, 2026. Earlier, the Board had already extended the deadline from May 22 to May 23.
CBSE stated that the website has been facing unprecedented traffic in recent days along with several attempts of unauthorised interference, which caused disruptions in the process.
“In an attempt to ensure that no student is left behind, the Board is extending the last date for obtaining scanned photocopy of answer book of Class XII Board Examinations,” the circular stated.
The Board also informed students that they will get up to two days after receiving the scanned copy of their answer books to apply for the next stage, including verification of marks, obtaining photocopies, or re-evaluation.
CBSE advised students to make use of the extended timeline and complete the process accordingly. All other terms and conditions will remain unchanged, the Board added.
