According to a press release issued by the board on Tuesday, June 2, students can avail the facility from Tuesday and will remain open till midnight of June 6. The process is completely online, and no offline applications or requests submitted after the deadline will be accepted.

CBSE stated that only students who have already obtained scanned copies of their evaluated answer books are eligible to apply for these services.

Students can log in using their existing credentials on the CBSE website and select the desired service. The board clarified that Aadhaar authentication will not be required for portal access.

CBSE has fixed the fee for verification of issues in scanned copies at ₹100 per answer book, while students applying for re-evaluation will have to pay ₹25 per question. The payment can be made through online modes such as UPI, credit card, debit card, or net banking.

Under this category, students can report discrepancies found in their scanned answer scripts, such as missing pages, missing supplementary sheets, missing maps or graphs, blurred pages, incorrect answer books, or cases where evaluation has been done against a different question paper set.

The board said multiple subjects and issues can be included in a single application, but students must ensure all intended requests are added before final submission.

Students dissatisfied with their marks may also apply for re-evaluation of one or more questions across subjects by providing details such as question number and page number.

CBSE clarified that only one application for verification of issues and one application for re-evaluation will be permitted per student. Once the “Freeze and Proceed to Payment” option is clicked, the entered details will be locked and cannot be edited.

The board further stated that applications will be treated as successfully submitted only after completion of online payment.

CBSE said it will examine the requests and communicate the outcome after completion of the process. A visual guide and tutorial have also been made available by the board to assist students with the application procedure.
