In a notice dated May 24, CBSE said that technical issues on May 21–22 led to incorrect fee deductions while students were applying for scanned copies of evaluated answer sheets. While some candidates were charged more than the required amount, others were billed less.

The board clarified that all excess payments will be automatically refunded to the original mode of payment. In cases where lesser fees were deducted, candidates will be notified separately regarding payment of the balance amount, if applicable.

CBSE further stated that scanned copies of answer books will be provided in all affected cases without requiring students to submit fresh requests.

The board urged stakeholders to take note of the update, assuring that corrective steps have been taken to address the issue and streamline the process.
