According to officials at the spot, Rabha had checked into the hotel on October 18 and had been staying there since. He was on leave at the time of his death.
Police said the body has been sent for post-mortem examination, and an investigation is under way to establish the circumstances of the death.
Senior police officers said Rabha's family had told them he had been undergoing medical treatment for liver ailments. Police have ruled out foul play at this stage, though the official cause of death will be confirmed only after the post-mortem report.
