GUWAHATI: Normal traffic movement has resumed at Jorabat Crossing after the floodwater completely receded from the area.

All traffic restrictions and diversions imposed earlier have now been withdrawn, allowing vehicles to move normally through Jorabat.
Earlier, severe waterlogging at 9th Mile, 10th Mile and Jorabat had led to traffic diversions. Light Motor Vehicles travelling towards Guwahati were diverted at Digaru, while vehicles heading out of Guwahati were diverted at Koinadhara Point. Motorists travelling out of Guwahati had also been advised to use the Narengi route as an alternative.
With the waterlogging situation now cleared, commuters can use the Jorabat Crossing as usual. Authorities have urged motorists to follow traffic rules and drive safely.
