Guwahati: Traffic Diversions Imposed at Jorabat, 9th Mile and 10th Mile Due to Waterlogging


 

GUWAHATI: Traffic movement has been diverted at several points along the Guwahati-Jorabat route following severe waterlogging at 9th Mile, 10th Mile and Jorabat.

The diversions have been implemented with immediate effect to manage traffic movement and ensure the safety of commuters.

According to the traffic advisory, Light Motor Vehicles (LMVs) travelling towards Guwahati will be diverted at Digaru. Meanwhile, vehicles heading out of Guwahati will be diverted at Koinadhara Point.

Motorists travelling from Guwahati towards the outskirts have been advised to use the Narengi route as an alternative to avoid the waterlogged stretches.

Commuters have been urged to plan their journeys accordingly and allow additional travel time while the diversions remain in place.
