GUWAHATI: Internationally acclaimed Polish guitarist and composer Marcin Patrzałek has arrived in Shillong ahead of his performance on August 12 at the Lariti Performing Centre, Mawkasiang.

As part of his Meghalaya visit, Marcin will engage with local students, buskers and emerging artists through jam sessions and interactive workshops under the Chief Minister’s Meghalaya Grassroots Music Program (CM-MGMP).
Marcin expressed his fascination with Meghalaya’s natural beauty, saying his journey from the airport made him feel as if he had entered “a different world.”
The concert will also showcase Meghalaya’s homegrown talent, with CM-MGMP Achiever of the Month Chegim Durama, along with Leo Boys and Larger Than 90, performing as opening acts.
The visit is part of Meghalaya’s efforts to connect local musicians with international artists and strengthen Shillong’s position as a major live-music and cultural destination.
