Two Guwahati Police Personnel Suspended Over Alleged Misconduct During Naka Duty


 

GUWAHATI: Two personnel from Noonmati Police Station in Guwahati have been placed under suspension with immediate effect following an alleged incident of misconduct while performing naka duty on August 31.

According to an order issued by the police authorities on Tuesday, September 1, SI (UB) Dharam Raj Mishra and UBC 655 Sanjit Boro, both posted at Noonmati Police Station, were suspended in connection with the alleged misconduct.

The order stated that the alleged misconduct was of a “serious nature” and had brought “disrespect to the police department.”

During the suspension period, both personnel will remain attached to the Police Reserve, Police Commissionerate, Guwahati, and will receive subsistence allowance as admissible under the rules.
