GUWAHATI: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday, September 20, reacted sharply when a journalist asked him why he did not visit Zubeen Kshetra in Sonapur on September 19, the first death anniversary of singer Zubeen Garg.

The state observed Zubeen Diwas on September 19, with fans and admirers paying tribute to the late singer across Assam.
On Sunday, CM Sarma was in Chapar, Dhubri, where he attended the foundation stone-laying ceremony for Adani Power Limited’s 3,200 MW thermal power plant.
While speaking to the media at the event, a reporter asked Sarma why he did not visit Zubeen Kshetra in Sonapur.
Responding to the question, Sarma asked the reporter, “Are you not at the power plant meeting?”
He then asked the reporter for his name, saying, “What is your name?”
After the reporter responded with his name, Sarma said, “That is the problem everywhere.”
