Young baking enthusiasts and their parents came together for an afternoon of creativity, teamwork and celebration at the 6th Edition of Hotel Palacio’s Bake-Off Challenge – Parents’ Day Special, held at Hotel Palacio, Khanapara on August 9.
The Second Runner-up were Kaberi Baishya & Aurelia Kalita while Rupali Sarkar & Kritika Sarkar were named the First Runner-up. The title of Winner of the 6th Edition of Hotel Palacio’s Bake-Off Challenge – Parents’ Day Special went to Barnali Saikia & Saanvi Saikia.
The event brought together parent-child teams who worked side by side to showcase their creativity and baking skills. Participants were given one hour to decorate their cakes based on the given theme, turning their creations into colourful and imaginative expressions of their ideas and teamwork.
The entries were evaluated by a distinguished jury comprising Nilakshi R. Sarma, passionate baker and content creator; Salma Nasrin, lifestyle and food content creator; Chef Ananya Das, home baker, Founder of FLIORAA and former Taj Chef; Chef Arup Das, Executive Chef at Hotel Palacio, Khanapara; and Chef Nitin, Pastry Chef at Hotel Palacio, Paltan Bazaar.
The event was supported by Magik Cook as the Powered by Partner, contributing to the celebration and experience for the participating families.
Speaking about the event, Pradeep Mukherjee, General Manager, Hotel Palacio, Khanapara, said, “The Bake-Off Challenge has always been about more than just baking. It gives parents and children an opportunity to spend quality time together, create something with their own hands and celebrate their bond. After having to postpone the event due to the flood situation, we were especially happy to see the families return with the same enthusiasm and spirit.
