GUWAHATI: At least 275 Indian nationals remain missing amid the floods in Nepal, according to the latest update issued by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Saturday, August 29.

The MEA said 108 Indian nationals have been rescued, while contact has been re-established with 50 others.
As per local government sources, 598 Indian nationals have safely crossed into Nepal from China. Another 900 Indian nationals are yet to depart China, though they are safe and the Indian Embassy in Beijing remains in touch with them directly or through local authorities.
The update also stated that 128 persons of Indian origin are missing.
The figures are based on the situation as of 10:30 PM on August 29.
