’89 question papers leaked in 10 years, NEET now up for auction’! Rahul Gandhi is talking about the future of students

NEET (NEET-UG 2026) examination is being conducted in the country. And this time Congress leader Rahul Gandhi targeted the Narendra Modi government on this issue. He categorically claimed that NEET is no longer a transparent exam but has become an ‘auction centre’.

The former MP from Wayanad alleged that exam papers were leaked 89 times in the last 10 years and said that the future of the youth was in jeopardy under the Modi government.

Rahul Gandhi vented his anger in a lengthy post on social media ‘X’ Although he did not submit any specific reports or documents to support his claims, his attacks were sharp.

“I heard the news of NEET 2026 question paper leak. It’s no longer an exam, NEET has now become an auction. Questions were sold on WhatsApp 42 hours before the exam.

“This is not the first time,” he said, referring to the 10-year history of the BJP government. In the last 10 years, question papers have been leaked 89 times and exams have been held 48 times. Each time the same promise is made, profound silence follows.

He also said that the children of the poor have to pay for the failure of the Modi government. Rahul claims that Modi government is the biggest obstacle in the way of fulfilling the dreams of the youth of the country. But he is with the youth of India and assured that he will change the system.

Meanwhile, the Rajasthan Police is shaken by the allegations of irregularities in the NEET examination. Special Operation Team of Rajasthan Police has started investigation into the incident. Vishal Banchal, Additional Director General of SOG, said a ‘gas paper’ or question paper with possible 410 questions has come to their notice.

About 120 questions from the chemistry section of the exam allegedly match this set exactly. Shocking claims, the document was circulated outside before the trial. Investigators are probing whether there is a criminal gang behind it.

However, the National Testing Agency is unwilling to accept any complaint of negligence in the examination. The NTA said in an ex-handel on Sunday that the NEET examination was held across the country on May 3 amid tight security. Their demands are:

• GPS tracked vehicles were used to transport the questionnaires.

• Each question paper had a specific watermark that could be identified.

• CCTV was monitored from a central control room using AI technology.

• 5G jammers are installed in the examination center to verify the biometrics of each candidate.

According to NTA, they first came to know about the irregularities on the night of May 7, four days after the examination. The information was given to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on May morning while the Rajasthan SOG assured full cooperation in the investigation, NTA claimed that the May 3 exam was successfully conducted as per all norms.

Amid this fray of investigations and complaints, millions of examinees and their parents are naturally worried.
