Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav’s younger son Pratik Yadav has died. He was taken unconscious to the Lucknow Civil Hospital around 6 am on Wednesday, where doctors declared him brought dead. The body has been sent for post-mortem as the exact cause of his death is yet to be ascertained. The entire postmortem process will be video recorded. He is also expected to undergo a chest X-ray. Security has been beefed up at the hospital where his body is kept.
Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav’s step brother Prateek has been ill for quite some time. He was also admitted to the hospital and Akhilesh Yadav also visited him. He later recovered and returned home but died suddenly on Wednesday morning. There are already many mysteries surrounding death. Aparna Yadav’s brother Aman Bisthu rushed to the spot.
Pratik Yadav belonged to one of the most powerful political families in the country but he always stayed away from active politics. Mulayam Singh Yadav’s second wife Sadhana Gupta’s son Pratik studied at Leeds University in the UK. Later he got involved in real estate business and fitness industry. He also owned a gym called The Fitness Planet.
Prateek was married to BJP leader Aparna Yadav, but recently their rift came to light. Prateek complained that Aparna had ruined her family and she only thought about her fame and selfishness. Earlier this month, Prateek even made his decision to divorce his wife public. His sudden death in such a tumultuous environment has now created a reaction among everyone.
