Assam down town University Hosts ‘Campus to Corporate 2026’ to Guide Future Careers


 

Assam down town University organised Campus to Corporate 2026, bringing together students, parents, academicians, industry experts and alumni to create a platform focused on career guidance and industry exposure.

The event aimed to help students understand the importance of early career planning, skill development and aligning academic learning with industry requirements. Through interactions with professionals and experts, participants gained insights into evolving corporate trends, emerging opportunities and the skills needed to succeed in a competitive job market.

A key highlight of the programme was a felicitation ceremony honouring meritorious Class 10 and 12 students for their academic achievements. The university said recognising young achievers plays an important role in motivating students and guiding them in making informed decisions about higher education and career paths.

The event featured sessions by academic leaders and industry professionals, including including Dr. M.K. Modi, Honourable Executive Dean; Prof. Pranveer Singh, Honourable Pro Vice Chancellor; Dipankar Talukdar, Senior Vice President, HDFC Bank, Guwahati; Deepak Rayapudi, Senior Manager – SAP, Higher Education & Upskilling, SEED Infotech Ltd; Karuna Kanta, Deputy Manager, Directorate of International Affairs; Varsha Patwari, Assistant General Manager, Directorate of Career Advancement; Dinesh Kr. Lahoti, STEM Educator and Career Mentor; and Ms. Barsha Das, Ex-Alumni of AdtU and Associate Manager HR at HDFC Life.

Discussions focused on career readiness, digital transformation, international opportunities, professional growth and real-world corporate expectations.

Interactive sessions, including Q&As and alumni interactions, allowed students to directly engage with speakers and gain practical insights into career pathways.
