GUWAHATI: Jimmy, a loyal female canine of the Assam Police attached to Cachar Police, passed away following sudden health complications, police said on Wednesday, May 13.

The police dog had been part of the force for several years and was known for her dedicated and selfless service in assisting operations.
Following her demise, Cachar Police bid Jimmy a farewell with full honours in recognition of her contribution and service to the department.
Police personnel and officials paid their respects during the ceremony, remembering the canine for her loyalty, discipline, and commitment while serving in the force.
