GUWAHATI: Assam Police officer Shri Birdie Boro, Deputy Superintendent of Police (STF), won two gold medals at the All India Police Games (Badminton & Table Tennis Cluster) held in Lucknow from May 9 to 13, 2026.

Representing Assam Police in the tournament, Birdie Boro secured the gold medal in the Open NGOs Singles category.
He also won another gold medal in the Open GOs Singles category during the championship.
The All India Police Games saw participation from police personnel representing different states and security forces from across the country.
In a post on X, Assam Police congratulated Birdie Boro for his achievement and for bringing recognition to the state at the national-level sporting event.
